Architectural Guidelines

Your home is subject to Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions (CC&Rs) which are intended to protect the unique attributes, appearance and environment of the Catalina Foothills Estates No. 9 (CAT9). Please read the CC&Rs before planning any project. The Board has approved new architectural review guidance and this request form to help owners through the process. Please complete this application in full to avoid delays, and so the Board can make a timely and informed approval. Per the CC&Rs, plan for up to 60 days from submittal for approval since the Board only meets once a month (See this website for meeting dates). Please contact the Architectural Review chairman Jeff Landers to start your request and for questions about coordinating with the Board's Approving Architect.

When the Board receives notice of an actual or potential violation, the owner will receive a hard copy of the request form and the notice will be recorded in the minutes so that the board can be sure to consistently document the request or approvals going forward.

Exterior modifications, paint color, additions, renovations and improvements must go through architectural review. The owner is responsible for requesting, obtaining and showing proof of review and written approval by the Board and the Board's approving architect.
